About
Hey — I'm Alejandro.
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. I'm a multidisciplinary designer with professional experience acrossvisual effects, UX, and motion design — which is a formal way of saying I've spent years making pixels move, feel, and make sense.
Designer first. But underneath that, I'm someone who wonders about things, pokes at them, and can't leave an idea alone until I've built some version of it. That's how this site got aliving pixel garden, and it's how most of my best work starts.

I don't just play games — I ship them.
Gaming is where design clicked for me: feedback loops, juice, reward pacing, the way a good interaction teaches itself. I've released a couple of games on Roblox, and building for real players — impatient ones, chaotic ones — taught me more about UX than any tutorial ever did. If something's confusing, a ten-year-old will tell you in the chat within four seconds.
▶ Play GRINS GAMES on Roblox ↗Filmmaking & skits.
I love making things with a camera — short films, skits, dumb ideas taken way too seriously. VFX is actually where my professional story starts, so directing, cutting, and compositing all live in the same part of my brain as design: it's all timing, framing, and knowing exactly where the eye goes next.
Competitive by nature.
I enjoy competitive games like Valorant, Marvel Rivals, and Pokémon Champions.
Professionally curious.
I wander — new tools, new mediums, weird corners of the internet, whatever this week's obsession is. Curiosity is the actual engine behind everything on this page: you can't design something interesting if you've stopped being interested.

Now in development
unnamed_goo_game
My current after-hours project: a puzzle game about goo — squishy physics, sticky logic, and levels that make you feel clever instead of tested. I'm designing it, building it, and documenting the whole messy process in public.
Follow the devlog on Instagram to watch it evolve from prototype gifs to a real game (working title very much included).

GNOMICIDE
My other after-hours project, and the tonal opposite of the goo game: a dark horror puzzle game where your job is to clean up a garden overrun with gnomes. It's unsettling, a little funny, and gets worse the longer you look at it — exactly how I want it.
Follow the devlog on Instagram for prototype clips and progress.

That's the short version. The longer one is better over a call — or in the garden, if you're more of a plant-a-seed-first type.
